Warm dry spring conditions led to good fruit set and healthy vines. Dry conditions prevailed until harvest when the heavens opened up with some heavy falls. Attention to detail in the vineyard, combined with partial hand harvesting to bring top quality fruit to the winery.
Nose: Lifted aromas of red and black fruits combine with spicy notes and choc-mocha oak.
Palate: The medium bodied palate displays bright blueberry and raspberry fruits together with perfectly ripened tannins and gentle acidity, the oak in balance. Excellent depth and concentration are the hallmarks of this Shiraz.
Food: Spicy Tapas.
